Piano FVG has announced the winners of the 26th edition

The 26th Biennial Piano FVG International Piano Competition reaches its grand finale!

Organized by the Piano FVG Association under the artistic direction of Davide Fregona—and supported by the Municipality of Sacile, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and the Friuli Foundation—this prestigious competition continues its twenty-year legacy of discovering and championing exceptional keyboard talent.

From May 8th to May 10th, 2026, the six finalists selected in 2025 performed in a stunning final round, featuring both solo recitals and concertos accompanied by the FVG Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Andras Vass.
The performances have been evaluated by a highly artistic international jury, composed of world-renowned pianists and teachers: Anna Kravtchenko, President of the Jury; Giuseppe Andaloro, Jean Marc Luisada, Roberto Prosseda, Nataliya Trull, and Carles Lama.

After three days filled with emotion, suspense, and extraordinary artistry, we are proud to present the rankings of the 26th edition:

1st Prize: Tomas Marut
2nd Prize: Sherri Hoi Cing Lun
3rd Prize: Domenico Bevilacqua
4th Place: Alessandro Artese
6th Place ex aequo: Jaeyoon Lee e Mia Pečnik

As well as the Special Prizes awarded to the top two contestants who dominated this edition of the competition:
