Registrations are now open for the 26th edition of the Friuli Venezia Giulia International Piano Competition!

You have until March 3, 2025, to register for the first phase of the Competition, which will take place at Palazzo Ragazzoni, in the centre of the city of Sacile – the city of music and piano – from May 6 to 10, 2025.
All participants will have the opportunity to compete for a total prize pool of 41,000 euros, with a First Prize amounting to 20,000 euros, which represents not only a substantial financial incentive but also an important recognition in a pianist’s career.

The 26th edition of the competition will take place in two phases: the First Phase will be held from 6 to 10 May 2025, while the Second Phase is scheduled from 6 to 9 May 2026, and will see the six finalists engaged in a concert with orchestra and one for solo piano.

An international jury of renowned pianists will guarantee the excellence and impartiality of the judging. Among the prominent members is Anna Kravtchenko, who is president, defined by the Dutch newspaper Het Parool as “the miracle of the keyboard” and is already a member of the jury in the 25th edition of the competition. At his side, other illustrious judges such as Fu Hong from China, Giuseppe Andaloro, Vincenzo Balzani and Roberto Prosseda from Italy, Muriel Chemin from France, Carles Lama and Jean-Marc Luisada from Spain and Pavel Gililov from Ukraine.

This event represents an important platform for young pianists wishing to establish themselves on the international scene, thanks also to the prestige and visibility offered by a competition of this level.
