Of note are the performances staged with I Solisti Veneti conducted by Claudio Scimone, also in partnership with Cremona’s Fondazione-Accademia W. Stauffer, under the musical supervision of Maestro Salvatore Accardo.
Noteworthy is the 2018 musical co-production with the Cineteca del Friuli and La Cineteca di Milano at the Teatro Verdi in Pordenone on the occasion of the World Silent Festival Le Giornate del Cinema Muto for Mario Bonnard’s 1922 film I Promessi Sposi. He is also present on the world stage with numerous events: it is worth mentioning his presence in Dubai, as Artistic Director of Piano Fvg, on the occasion of EXPO 2020 day dedicated to the European Union. A packed schedule of events was held on the stage of the Millennium Amphitheater with the performance of numerous European artists including an award-winner at the “Piano Fvg” international piano competition.
Maestro Fregona designed the Officina dell’Arte, the first international course in violin making held at the institute B. Carniello in Brugnera, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Udine and Pordenone.
Davide has been artistic director of the event Legno Vivo, an innovative project that combines music, workshops, exhibitions and tourism promotion initiatives, all around the theme of “Wood” applied to “Music,” also developed as part of a virtuous collaboration with the “Resonanze” festival in Malborghetto.
As artistic director of Musicae – Distretto culturale del Pianoforte- Maestro Fregona aims to strengthen cultural organizations and performing arts enterprises to improve the enjoyment of cultural heritage by increasing forms of collaboration among these associations, including with the involvement of local reference entities.
